With the world of online becoming over saturated and misunderstood I find often times people and entities are publishing content just because “something must be published!”. Writing content just for the purpose of putting “something” out there is a huge mistake. My motto has always been keep it real or don’t bring it at all.
Technology has helped connect people and brands from around the world. The digital world shares your message to anyone who has an internet connection. Whether it shows up on their mobile device or pc, your message gets delivered!

That brings me to the main point – the masses do have the opportunity to see what you publish. Make it something relevant, make it something interesting to your target market. Think about and research what would be of value to them. Give them yummy morsels of goodness to digest. When you provide value and something useful to them, they will keep coming back for more, to see your brand, your page, your products/services.
Think about what you say, the content you publish, the graphics that accompany that content. It reflects you and your business and/or service and product. It matters what you say online. Perceptions and truths about what you have to offer and who you are will ultimately be decided by what you look like and “sound” like online.

I often refer to social media and content marketing as ‘dating’ or being in a relationship. Think about if you were with someone and they talked about stuff all day long and all night long that was completely irrelevant to anything in your life. Imagine them talking in a disconnected way with just a bunch of rhetoric and fluffy words that really provide no value or substance to your mind or interest in any way. You wouldn’t want to be around that person. Don’t do that to your target market.
In conclusion remember that if you want to create meaningful social relationships, meaningful content and intelligent thought out strategy has to be put into your online marketing messages and broadcast.
